Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Life has been hectic. Thankfully, Mabel has made a swift and full recovery from her operation, and Dijon is not quite as interested in her as he was. He is still spraying, but not as much as before.

The two of them remain as crazy as before... Mabel is not at all cuddly, but Dijon likes a good ear tugging and check massage, although he doesn't always realise that's what he wants. Both of them like to use me as a conduit to out-of-reach places such as dining chairs. Or rather, they use me as a way to see how to reach out-of-reach places.
Mabel has an obsession with the piano, she can leap directly onto the keyboard now (no need to spring from my back), or use the piano stool as a step up.

But today she has shocked us all - she had been looking up at the piano, but instead leaped up to top of the bureau, which stands next to the piano. It is just over a metre, about 3.5ft, high. What makes it more amazing is that the top is covered with 'precious' things - some pictures in frames, some china ornaments and LOTS of clay items the children have made - it's so packed that it rarely gets dusted. It is - or at least was - the only safe place to keep such items!

We have never seen a rabbit leap so high in one go - it's one of the highest objects in the room, so has brought bunny-proofing to a whole new level!
